Here’s a handy tip from yours truly. If you shudder at the thought of having to peer into a baby’s diaper in order to determine if junior has finished their “business” then don’t have kids, it’s as easy as that! But if my tidbit of wisdom has arrived a bit too late for your growing family just get one of these wet diaper alarms instead.

Each of these plush animals has a not so subtle cord running from their backs that ends in a small electronic probe. This probe is attached to the baby’s diaper and when it detects wetness it triggers the stuffed animal to start playing music. This music of course is your cue to get up and swap out that soiled diaper for a fresh one. The probes are reusable after being cleaned and dried and the “pianissimo electrical current button batteries” are apparently safe to be used around the baby.

A set of two Wet Baby Dipper Alarms are available from Eastern Sale for only $14.
