A grand piano can add a touch of class to any home. But what if you don’t know how to play, or live in a not-so-sprawling apartment? You might be impressing your friends, but that’s a lot of floor space to give up just to look cultured. Thankfully there are designers hard at work solving problems just like these, and this time around the fruits of their labors have resulted in the Concerto Table.

It might look like a baby grand piano, but the Concerto is actually a dining room table that comes complete with a storage compartment in the middle for stashing things when it’s time to eat, a pull-out drawer for storing cutlery and of course an iPod dock for providing a suitable soundtrack to breakfast, lunch and dinner. It looks like it can comfortably seat up to 7 people so it’s not all form over function, and it can be yours in either a bright white or black high gloss enamel finish for a mere $14,000.
