Wearable tech is all the rage these days. Will wearable keyboards come next? That’s the concept the folks behind Airtype are working with. It’s a keyless keyboard that comes in the form of two plastic cuffs that fits in the palm of your hand. It’s not like those virtual, projected keyboards either, because when they say the Airtype is keyless, it really is keyless, even in the virtual sense.
Rather, it works by learning “the finger movements [that] you make to get the letters that you want.” Its designers go on to claim that using the Airtype should be no different than typing on a keyboard. What do you think?
