Thanks to an awkwardly placed phone jack and power outlets, I have a thick bundle of assorted cables running along one of my walls. While they don’t bother me in the slightest, I know there are people who would be horrified at the sight of an exposed cable in their home. And I’m sure that’s part of the reason why designers Paul Kogelnig and Gabriel Heusser created the Cablet rug in the first place.

The carpet has a series of cable ducts integrated into the design, which allows you to run wires directly across the room while still keeping them hidden. The ducts are made from a soft foam material which apparently matches the feel of the rest of the felt carpet, so when you’re walking across it you never feel the wires underfoot.
