If the pictures you’re taking with your camera phone are turning out blurry all the time you can either avoid using the thing in dark settings or maybe start using this miniature tripod designed specifically for cellphones.
The phone is attached to the Cellpod using either the phone’s built-in holster-connection button (if it has one) or an adhesive mount instead. It’s also recommended to only use a camera phone that has a built-in timer so you don’t introduce any vibration while hitting the ‘shutter’ button.
I’m just going to go on a little rant here for a moment. I was at the auto show in Detroit a few weeks ago with my trusty DSLR and I was pretty surprised at how many people were getting in my way so they could grab a shot of a car with their crappy camera phones. The only phone I would even dream of using to take a half-decent photo with would be one of Sony’s Cybershot models but the majority of people I saw at the show were using far crappier models. Sure a cameraphone might come in useful when Bigfoot unexpectedly crosses your path but if you’re going somewhere where you know you’ll be taking lots of photos please invest in a better solution than what your local carrier gives away for free with a 2-year contract.
Oh yeah, the Cellpod is available from X-Treme Geek.com for $24.97.
