I’ve gone clubbing in enough pairs of high heels to be all to familiar with the pain and suffering that they can cause. I’m sure the fact that I usually ended up trying to stuff my men’s size 13 feet into a borrowed pair of women’s size 9 stilettos didn’t help, but as a woman friend of mine puts it, “it’s all about appearance, not comfort.” And sexy legs are worth the sacrifice.

Footloose, a design project by Marte de Hollander, offers the best of both worlds with adjustable high heels that turn into flats by simply twisting the heel around. It’s a great idea, and she’s already patented it, so women and men who like to dress in drag will hopefully have a chance at these sometime soon.
[Do… you like to dress in drag, Evan? -Ed.]
not too bad in theory, but regular heels are susceptible to spontaneous implosion, I?d be weary of these.
This is a very funny idea.
Is this real and where are
the adjustable heels offered?

I just have one concern. How durable is this heel?
