Even though I’m a big Nintendo fan I will admit that Sunday morning I was less than happy the company had chosen the month of November to launch the Wii. While multiple layers of clothing made things more bearable I would really have preferred to be sporting a pair of these that day.
On the outside they may look like a normal pair of boring, khaki-colored cargo pants but like a lot of people keep trying to convince me it’s what’s on the inside that counts. And besides a fleece lining the inside of these cargos also conceal several built-in carbon-fiber heating elements positioned across the lower back and inside the pockets for keeping your hands warm. The pants use a rechargeable battery that apparently runs for hours and even includes a wired remote for adjusting the temperature in the different ‘zones.’
The Dual-Zone Heated Cargos are available from Brookstone for $150.
