Well, Kohler’s got you covered, folks: they’re selling a $100 retrofit kit that makes it possible never to touch your toilet with your hands; if you want to never touch it at all however, you will have to learn to hover over the seat. A motion-activated sensor triggers the inner mechanism (a simple rotating arm), which simply pulls the chain that you normally pull with the flush. The flush handle itself can be removed and replaced with a hole cover for a sleeker look, while a sticker can be applied to inform your guests that your toilet is in fact absolutely functional and not strange at all.
