i-Blue PS-3200 GPS Bluetooth ReceiverBy David Ponce

If only because it adds a drop of convenience and an ounce of energy efficiency, I’m going to gloss over this next product. It’s the i-Blue PS-3200 GPS Bluetooth receiver, and it’s claim to fame (aside from the usual assurances of increased GPS sensitivity and performance) is that the device will go into sleep mode if it’s not within the range of a Bluetooth enabled device. Soon’s that PDA, smartphone or whatever comes into range, it’ll quickly power up and sync.

That way, you don’t have to turn the unit off, unless you really want to, and you can spend longer time spans between charges. It’s $105.
