I doubt they’ll ever come up with an innovation like the iPhone, but I’m kind of happy to see IKEA slowly moving into the appliance and electronics market. Their Patrull Air Purifier doesn’t really do anything innovative or groundbreaking, but it does look a heck of a lot better than the models you’ll find at your local Home Depot. And if that’s important to you you probably won’t mind spending ~$180 on it. (1,295 kr since it doesn’t appear to be available from North American IKEAs just yet.)

  1. I <3 Ikea. Some things are expensive but for the most part they are inexpensive. Most are $1 items to $5 it's really nice. This would be very cute and fashionably acceptable in many homes.
