I’ve never had the… um… fortune of playing one, but apparently rolling a 20 on those incredibly multi-sided die is a really good thing during a role-playing game. So much so that ThinkGeek has gone to the trouble of creating this ‘Critical Hit’ die ($9.99) that flashes when a player rolls a 20. Now they make every assurance that the die remains evenly weighted even though it’s now chock full of electronicy bits and LEDs, but I suspect it would still end up providing an excuse for your fellow players to cry foul if things don’t go their way! So buyer beware I guess.
