Given how difficult they can be to decorate, maintain and eventually haul to the curb, I’m always looking for easier alternatives to the classic Christmas Tree when the holidays roll around. And the Six Pointed Star Holiday Tree from Relish seems like the perfect solution.
It’s made from a single piece of anodized aluminum that comes flat-packed, but stretches out like a Slinky to form a slick looking minimalist Christmas Tree. It’s even got a series of holes allowing you to hang ornaments or zip-tie a string of lights to it. And while the ‘tree’ comes with wire and a hook for hanging, there’s also a matching tree stand available which makes me think the aluminum is thick enough to support its own weight when stretched out.
But at $199 from Relish, that fresh cut pine tree from the local tree lot probably seems like the better solution again.
