In my opinion, the $200 million Olympic Water Cube in Beijing is hands down the most impressive sporting venue I’ve ever seen. And not only does it look amazing, but the giant bubble wrap-inspired design apparently also reduced the building’s energy costs by 30%. Unfortunately this Water Cube inspired cellphone from China is not as cool. In fact the only thing that makes it reminiscent of the actual structure is the bubble pattern on the phone’s housing. Yawn. It’s a tri-band GSM phone with a 2.4 inch LCD display, 120-150 minutes of talk time, 120-150 hours of standy, front and back “high-definition” cameras, bluetooth, support for various media formats, a trans-flash card slot and all of the standard features you’d expect to find on a reasonably equipped phone these days. It also has a dynamic ‘touch FLO’ menu which probably translates to a poor interpretation of the iPhone’s UI.

But if you were sad to see the Olympics come to an end, or maybe want a way to carry a memento of Phelp’s gold medals in your pocket, you can get this phone from Sourcing Gate for $175.37.
