For the fisherman who’s got everything except a bite all morning comes the Guide Pro series of watches from Origo. Using temperature and pressure sensors, they read and analyze atmospheric data in order to tell the wearer the best times to go fishing or hunting.
The data from the sensors is also used to provide weather forecasts including temperatures and the barometric trend for the past 30 hours. The watch also includes an altimeter with an accuracy of about 12 inches, and will graph your ascent or descent over the past 8 hours. There’s even a digital compass and other standard watch functions like a calendar and chronograph.
There’s no information on pricing yet (nor is the watch listed on the Origo website) but given other models currently available you can expect it to cost around $60-$100.
