  1. I was all for this until I saw the video they have on Hammacher Schlemmer. In the action shots everyone is holding on to the chair arms, looking around uneasily and appearing to be trying to support most of their weight with their arms and legs. They look like they don't trust the product to not kill them at all.

  2. My grandmother is elderly and in poor health. She has some kind of thingamajig like this that helps her stand. It's a big help to her, but I think hers uses a spring.
