The first meeting is almost always awkward. If you have the luxury of time, then you could do a search and Google to browse his or her social media profiles. But if you’re running on a tight schedule, the best you can do is pull up a quick 30-second briefing of whoever you’re meeting using Refresh.
It’s an iOS app that parses data from social media networks and other online sources to give you a quick background on the other person, so you’ll have something to talk about aside from the weather. Refresh provides information such as the person’s jobs, achievements, interests, and travels.
