It’s not actually powered by steam in any way, and according to the creator ‘bdring‘ it can’t really turn very well, but if you’ve been looking for an extremely cheap DIY alternative to the Segway, head on over to Instructables where you’ll find everything you need to build your very own Legway. It’s even eco-friendly since there’s no emissions (unless you count sweat) and the original model pictured above was constructed from mostly found materials.

  1. Yeah, see the Segway is crap, but it's cool at the same time. This thing, it's the same, but missing the cool bit. It's just crap, isn't it? It looks like a bunch of random go kart and plumbing parts slung together to resemble a push mower. Oh, wait, that's because that's exactly what it is. This Steampunk thing has generated some fine computer cases and accessories, many of which are amazing, but once the concept leeches into the real world it just looks plainly archaic and ridiculous.
