If at any point in your life you’ve had a hard time getting a key into a key hole when it’s dark, then you’ll instantly ‘get’ the V Lock concept designed by Junjie Zhang. The rendered mockup and gratuitous use of arrows makes it easy to understand why the V Lock is a vast improvement on the standard deadbolt design, though unfortunately since I can’t see how this approach would work with a flush mounted keyhole, it doesn’t seem applicable to car doors where it would probably be most appreciated.
