The EyeTV Hybrid is a fun little dongle for Mac users. It allows you to receive and record over-the-air HDTV programming in 720p or 1080i, when available, and also analog TV via antenna or coax cable. It does both.
Since it also gives you the ability to connect game consoles to your mac, and also comes with a break-out cable for composite video and S-Video (enabling you to connect a set top box for premium channels, digital cable or satellite), there’s no good reason to own an actual television anymore.
It’s $150.
