Quadrocopters are all the rage these days. We’re calling them that now for those of you who take issue with them being called drones. You’re technically right, but hey, people are calling these toys drones so we’ll go with that too if you don’t mind. So, anyway, the Anura Pocket Drone packs a tiny low-res camera, is slightly larger than an iPhone, and can fly for up to 16 minutes on a charge. That makes it appealing to anyone who wishes they could play around with a drone but have always been put off by their size. And the smaller ones usually lack a camera, so the Anura pocket drone solves both issues: it’s small, super portable, and has a camera! The four propellers fold in to the frame, which is what allows its small size. WiFi connectivity extends its range, as well as it allows it to stream video directly to your smartphone. That’s some pretty fancy functionality for a device that’s going to cost you a $195 pledge. But you’ll sadly miss the holidays, since delivery is expected for April 2015.
