It’s great to see that Futurama will eventually be returning and even though the show has been off the air for a few years the fanbase is probably larger than ever thanks to syndication. One fan in particular, Simon Jansen is actually building a beer brewing Bender as a tribute to the Futurama episode called The Route Of All Evil where the Planet Express crew uses him as a still for their microbrew.
So far the project looks rather impressive and I have to give him high marks for his attention to detail. He’s even gone as far as to recreate the Bender remote seen in the episode War Is The H Word and has dug up an actual MOS 6502 processor for the robot’s brain.
