Well, we’d like you to know that there are some models that are actually affordable. The DJI Phantom FC40 is a quadcopter that can shoot 720p/30fps HD video through its integrated camera. The WiFi connection can send a live feed up to 980 feet away, but the 5.8Ghz remote control can actually operate the vehicle as far as 1,640 feet away. Integrated stabilizers and dampeners keep the image steady, while an autopilot and a “go-home” GPS landing feature ensure that even beginners can take to the skies. And if 720p isn’t your thing, the housing can also accommodate other cameras, like GoPros.
