DLP. Now that’s a type of TV that’s on the way out, but not fully out. And as it turns out if you don’t mind some bulk, you can get seriously large images, at full HD resolution, in 3D, for very cheap. Just take a look at this 73 inch 3D HDTV from Mitsubishi. It’s got all the specs you’d expect from a regular HD flat panel, plus 3D, but with around 13 extra inches of viewing space than a comparatively priced LCD. Of course, there’s bulk: the machine weighs 90lbs. But at $929 after a whopping $1,170 rebate, it’s not a bad deal at all.

  1. Wow that’s a great deal for a big TV like this. I think it’s time to upgrade again. I love to watch shows in HD. I am an HD junkie, and if you haven’t experienced HD then you will miss a lot. The whole transition was easy with DISH. They have a great offer where customers can get upgraded for no fee.  I use my fully loaded HD package with over 200 channels. The greatest thing is this is available free for life. There is no other pay-TV provider that can compete with what DISH brings to the table. There are always movies and TV shows in HD. Getting all the HD you can handle is wonderful, you will never want to see another SD TV again. I enjoy my employee service to the fullest, having the most channels and features.
