We close the week by looking at HP. The Pavilion dv7 Select Edition comes in several configurations, but today you can get either the Core i5 or Core i7 pretty decently decked out for either $799 or $899, respectively. That’s because there’s between $250 and $400 off at the moment on the machines themselves, plus you can get a bunch of upgrades thrown in for free.

HP is also offering FREE 8GB RAM upgrade ($120 savings), free Blu-ray Drive ($150 savings), 50% off 6-cell and 9-cell batteries, Lojack 4 year for the price of 1 year ($70 savings), 15-month Norton Internet Security subscription for $1 (savings $28) and free shipping.

The redesigned HP dv7t Select Edition (dv7tse) Laptop sports brushed aluminum chassis in stream argento (metal) finish and measures 1.25-inch thin. It replaces the popular HP dv7t/dv7t Quad Edition. Also features Altec Lansing speakers w/Beats Audio & HP Triple Bass Subwoofer, TrueVision HD webcam and optional 1GB ATI Mobility Radeon HD 5650 switchable graphics (base 512MB ATI Mobility Radeon HD 5470).
