Raquet manufacturer Prince has a new model that can actually be reconfigured depending on what feel the player is going for. The O3 Speedport Tour uses a set of swappable adapters that allow the racquet to be strung in two different ways. Wider string holes dampen vibration for a softer feel while smaller holes provide a firmer feel with “increased string feedback.”
Of course since the adapters can only be swapped in and out while the racquet is being restrung it’s not like you can stop in the middle of a game and change things up if you’re not happy with the feel. And while most professional players will just have multiple racquets so they can easily swap them mid-match those without corporate sponsorship will probably prefer this more affordable solution.
The O3 Speedport Tour is available now for $220.
