The Klong, Creepy Stuffed Toy

So here’s hoping this is some sort of joke. But it doesn’t look like one. Point is, if you know of any child who wouldn’t mind wearing the monster that hides under his bed around his neck, then the Klong might be an option this Holiday season. It’s just a stuffed toy. It has beans on its long arms, weighing them down, so it can always be “hugging” your kid. And it’s the creepiest damn thing I’ve seen in a long time.

Never mind the fact that the girl on the picture looks vaguely computer generated. Never mind asking yourself just why she’s wearing only one shoe. Don’t ask why she’s looking away into the abyss, as if she’s been chatting with Death. Perhaps that’s just the kind of little girl that would respond to a tagline such as “Klong cannot see or hear you… but he can sense your kindness.”

There’s even a really disturbing video (On a paged named “viral.htm” no less) of kids playing around with this creature.
