They say that when something isn’t broken, you shouldn’t fix it. But improving isn’t the same as fixing, and the Looblade creators make some good points about why their design is an improvement on the venerable bathroom staple: the toilet brush. For one, it’s made from flexible silicone TPU elastomer material that doesn’t trap bacteria as brush bristles tend to do; to clean it you simply shake it before re-inserting in its holder. The material itself has anti-microbial properties that are said to kill 99.9% of germs. Additionally, the cleaning tip features 8 spiralling blades that perform a kind of squeegee action as they’re being inserted at the bottom of your bowl, cleaning both faster and more efficiently. The lack of bristles also mean you won’t get any disgusting dirty water drips as you carry the Looblade back into its holder. All in all, it’s an interesting design that totally justifies the $23 asking price. It’s a Kickstarter, so you will have to wait until December of this year to get yours if you decide to purchase.
