Talent and hard work gets you anything, right? We’re not so sure that’s a universal axiom, but it should be. And every so often, it is, as is the case with the custom painted shoes from Kohl’s Customs. We’re not sure how much time Michael Kohl, an art teacher from Toronto, spent on these awesome NES kicks, but he did feel it sufficient to charge (and get) $450 for them. They’re clearly one of a kind, but Michael seems willing to work for hire, so head on over to his site and place an order if you so fancy. Hit the jump for a bunch more pictures, so you can get a better idea of Mike’s craftsmanship.
