While it’s not specifically targeted at wannabe spies, I think anyone with a penchant for shaken martinis would be glad to add this ultra-thin digital voice recorder to their covert toolkit. At just 6.5 millimeters thick (or thin if you’re an optimist) it manages to cram a whole lot of functionality into a miniature package.

With the 1GB of onboard memory you can record up to 69.3 hours of high quality audio (in the WAV file format) and the recording and playback controls are flush mounted so they can’t be accidentally pressed if you decide to cram this thing in your wallet. A pop-out USB cable allows you to transfer those recordings to your PC, and also means you’ll never forget to bring your transfer cable since it’s permanently attached. The recorder even has a headphone jack on top and includes a set of earbuds, which you’ll probably want to replace as soon as possible. But since they were able to fit a headphone jack in there, it would have been nice to include a mic jack as well so you could use a higher quality external microphone when needed. Oh well.

You can find it at ThinkGeek for $69.99.
