As far as usage, I live in an apartment complex with 5 sections, and we have quite a few parks, my kids like to go outside and play, the kids are limited to how far they can go play, with this device the kids can roam the complex within reason, and be in constance contact with home. The entire complex is about 2 miles from start to finish.
