There’s nothing quite as much fun as a water balloon fight on a hot summer day. But it’s safe to say that water balloon warfare is a field that’s seen relatively little technological innovation over the years. That’s about to end with the introduction of the “Bunch O’ Balloons” product. It’s a device that allows you to fill up 37 water balloons at once, using nothing but a garden hose. It unites the 37 balloon stems into one large stem which is then simply screwed onto the end of the hose. Open the faucet, fill them up, then just shake them loose; a special clamp automatically ties them shut as you shake so you don’t even need to tie them individually. At this rate, you’ll be able to fill about 100 a minute, which should be plenty fast enough to keep you armed through an entire afternoon.
The Kickstarter understandably blew right past its $10,000 goal, and is sitting at $537,000 at the time of writing. People are excited about this, and at $17 for a pack of 100, it won’t break the bank. Shipping is slated for September, however, so unless you live in a hot climate, you might not be able to get this in time for this summer.
