It’s no secret that I’m a fan of WaterField Designs’ bags and other gear. They’re stylish, well made and specifically designed for the safe transport of your toys. But for those times when you’ve got other daily necessities to haul around like work gear or even baby stuff the company has just released a new Sling tote. It’s an over the shoulder, courier-type bag made with a metallic looking material that not only looks great but is also completely machine washable. And like everything else WaterField makes the Sling tote is designed to keep you organized with plenty of pockets and compartments.

The cavernous main compartment includes five secured interior pockets to keep items separate and organized. Two exterior pockets at either end are tapered to prevent items from falling out. YKK zippers with dual sliders secure the wide top opening, allowing easy access to the main compartment from either end. Matching gear pouches are available to further organize personal items inside the Sling. They can be clipped to a leashed caribiner, located near the end pockets for easy retrieval.

The bag is currently available on the WaterField Designs website in three sizes and five different colors including blue, brown, green, red and silver. They start at $99 for the small Sling, $129 for the medium and $139 for the large.

  1. I too love Gary Waterfield’s gear. I’ve flogged a few to my friends so I’m about to start sending him a bill for commission… πŸ™‚ That said, I think this bag is hideous. The material and colours look really tawdry and tacky – No style at all. Why not at least make a plain black blassistic nylong version and maybe a black leather one too?

  2. I too think Watefield stuff is the best of the best. I have to disagree with Mathew on this one. I could use a lighter-weight bag for toting around gym stuff and clothes, etc. for quick overnight trips. I think the brown and silver look quite classy. Will choose from one of them. Thanks for the tip, Andrew.
