Don’t let rain catch you by surprise again. Of course, you could carry an umbrella or raincoat with you at all times, but that doesn’t sound very practical or convenient. What you can get instead is the RainScarf. It’s a dual-purpose scarf that has a pleasant surprise on the inside, which comes in especially handy when rain suddenly creeps up on you: a hoodie.
Just wear it like you would wear a regular scarf. When it starts to drizzle, just transform it into a partial raincoat by flipping it inside out from either end. The inside is made from a nylon water-resistant fabric shell, so you’re sufficiently protected, along with whatever gadgets you choose to keep under it while you scramble for shelter.
The RainScarf is available in two colors: pink gem and slate gray. It’s currently up for funding on Kickstarter, where a minimum pledge of $29 will get you one of your very own.
