I’ll admit that today’s kids have some pretty cool toys to play with. More often than not I wish I had some of their electronics when I was a kid, but I’ll admit a cellphone isn’t one of them. When I think back I rarely even touched the phone at home when I was younger so a cellphone would probably have been just as ignored.
However if junior has been dropping hints that a mobile phone is at the top of his or her Christmas list this year then the Imaginarium Mo1 might just be the ticket. Besides being robust and kid-friendly the pre-paid phone has dedicated buttons to call mom or dad and incoming messages can be limited via some handy parental settings.
The Mo1 is set for a December 2006 release and will run for about $74.
