Hey there Mr. Dj. Wanna mix, but you dropped out of Dj school? You’re rhythmically impaired? Fear not, there’s freeware to the rescue.
With MixMeister BPM Analyzer, you can easily determine the Beats Per Minute (BPM) of each of your MP3s. The software scans each file, and within seconds determines the beat and then tags the song with the value. Sure, if you have a large collection, it might take a while, but it shouldn’t be much of a problem.
What’s great is that you can then use iTunes smart playlist function to group songs with the same tempo together and uh, well, you can figure it out from there, right?
