Bose Announces Sleepbuds For People Who Can’t Fall Asleep

Bose is trying to make it easier for people with sleep difficulties with their newest offering, the Bose Sleepbuds. They are designed to work like modern ear plugs, blocking out as much sound as possible while maintaining comfortability and have a few tricks to hopefully make catching some ZZZ’s easier.

Unlike traditional ear plugs, the Sleepbuds can play soothing noises in two different styles; one for drowning out noises, and another for relaxation. These sounds are also built-in, so you don’t need to worry about streaming from your phone all night. There’s even an alarm feature to wake you up without disturbing your partner, or the vagabond that snuck into your bed.

Unfortunately, there’s no way to add other audio, so you’re stuck with the built-in sounds. And despite Bose being known for their noise-cancelling features in the headphones, it seems the Sleepbuds don’t include this feature at all, most likely due to size constraints.

Bose is selling the Sleepbuds though Indiegogo, and a pair will set you back $175 and should ship in February 2018.

iPhone X Notch Removing App Is Now Available On The App Store

While the iPhone X is getting strong reviews, many fans are not happy about the notch, the big obstructing bezel on the top of the display which houses the cameras, sensors and speaker. But for those of you who can’t seem to adjust, there is now an app you can download to make the adjustment easier.

The app is called Notch Remover, and like its name, it removes the unsightly notch. Now, it doesn’t actually remove the notch or the functionality of it, but it hides it under a black bar that you save as wallpapers. I couldn’t find any confirmation, but it seems like this app would only apply to the home screen and lock screen.

Still, if you hate the notch that much, it’s not a bad idea to spend $0.99 on an app to try and mask it. After all, you just spent $999 on the phone itself, what’s another buck?

Of Course That’s A Thing: The Scratch & Sniff Book of Weed

If you’ve ever wanted to smell the Devil’s Herb, but were afraid it would ruin your life, now you can buy a scratch and sniff book devoted to the scent of Mary Jane herself without worrying about going to jail forever. Of course, I’m sure that none of our readers have ever seen a Marijuana up close, but let me tell you it’s dangerous stuff.

The book itself contains 20 different scratch and sniff pads and details the history of Marijuana. Other than just being a book that smells like your uncle’s place, it also goes in-depth into the science of getting the munchies and why Marijuana seems to make music more enjoyable. It even describes different strains of the Chronic.

The book can be pre-ordered now for $18 and will release on 11/18. And just in time for the holiday’s, so it’d make a great gift for that cousin that always carries around that Visine, or your friend that always needs five bucks for Taco Bell.

The Steamed Hams Scene From The Simpson But It’s A Guitar Hero Song

The Simpsons used to be great, we got hilarious episodes like Homers Enemy, Mr. Plow, and Marge v. The Monorail. But without a doubt, one of the funniest moments is when Principal Skinner invites Superintendent Chalmers over for dinner and makes a mess out of everything.

Apparently, the scene was so good that someone decided to make it into a custom song for Guitar Hero, complete with power chords and all. I know it sounds crazy, but I’m pretty sure this is why the internet exists, and this might be the best thing I’ve seen all week.

Keep going for the video.

Cotodama Is A Speaker That Can Display Song Lyrics

Imagine if your speaker could display the lyrics for your favorite playlist. Okay, it’s an odd thought, but once you see the way the Cotodama Speaker shows lyrics through its clear display, you’ll wish you could add it to your setup.

The Cotodama is a speaker that uses dual 20W speakers as well as passive radiators to produce a high-quality sound. But, the main feature is its 22-inch transparent LCD display which will show lyrics to songs that it obtains through SyncPower, which has a database of over 2 million song lyrics.

Unfortunately, if a song doesn’t have lyrics on this service, than there’s no way to add them. But something tells me the price is a bigger holdback, as each hand crafted unit will set you back $4500.

So, as cool as it looks, you might have to settle for a Bose speaker.

That’s No Moon: Disney’s Attempt To Hide The Millennium Falcon Fails

If you were driving down the M3 outside of London, you may have seen an array of shipping containers. Now, to most people that’s where the story would end as it’d be nearly impossible to get a look inside the array from the ground, but some geniuses decided to use Google Maps and discovered a poor attempt at trying to hide a Millennium Falcon.

It was first spotted in June, and while parts of Star Wars: The Last Jedi were filmed in London, there’s no clear reason why Disney was trying to hide the spaceship. Nonetheless, they completely failed. I mean how hard is it to get a tarp, or two?

The Last Jedi releases on December 15th, but you probably already knew that.
